Letter to "Dear Sir" [manuscript], [1973 Jan. 29].

Draft of Robb's letter thanking the University of Virginia community for expressions of sympathy on the death of Lyndon B. Johnson. Robb notes that Johson was "looking forward to delivering the commencement address in June" and adds that Johnson's speech writer said Johnson intended to deliver "the greatest speech of his life." The letter was published in the Jan. 30, 1973 issue of the Cavalier Daily. Also included is a note from Steve Wells, former editor of the Cavalier Daily, concerning the composition of Robb's letter.
